MY BACKGROUND

After more than a decade of experience in the industry, Alec is recognized as one of the top mortgage consultants in Minnesota, and a leader in affordable housing. The majority of his clients come by way of referral: from past clients and other Real Estate professionals. Thanks to an outstanding team, including Production Partner Nicole Junker, clients are always able to reach a knowledgeable team member throughout the loan process.

Alec grew up in Northfield, where he also graduated from St. Olaf College. He and his wife moved back to Northfield several years ago, and they now live there with their four children. Alec draws upon his Speech Communication degree to explain the mortgage process in a way that people can understand, whether they have a financial background or not. This communication background has also led to a side career as a speaker, delivering more than 50 speeches and classes a year on mortgage and Real Estate topics such as buying your first home, building a new home and debt management. He has also had more than 20 articles published on similar topics. Alec can also be listened to on The Minnesota Real Estate Show on Saturdays from 1-3 on KTLK FM, 100.3.
