Senior Loan Officer Barry Wheeler began his home-financing career in 2004 for a homebuilder before going to work for a national bank in 2007. His varied experience working in his current position and in the past as a Loan Officer, Branch Manager, Corporate Trainer, VA Loan Specialist and Texas Home Equity Specialist have prepared him to successfully guide his clients as they make one of the largest and most exciting transactions of their lives.

Barry grew up in Austin and graduated from Texas State University. He is a member of the Austin Young Real Estate Professionals, Austin Mortgage Professionals, Austin Under 40 and is a Board Member of the Young Men's Business League. He enjoys spending time volunteering with the Austin Marathon, Austin Sunshine Camps, Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo and is on the executive committee of the Schlotzsky's Bun Run. He also enjoys hunting in his spare time.
