Blake Mahon

Blake Mahon, Branch Manager for Cornerstone Mortgage Company, knows exactly what it takes to help his clients purchase a home. He meets with individual clients to determine their long- and short-term financial objectives and then analyzes how he can help them achieve those goals. Blake believes that face-to-face, personal contact with his clients is essential to establishing a relationship built on trust.

After earning a degree in Finance from Texas A&M University, Blake began his career in subprime lending and later progressed to brokering loans. In 2004, he co-founded a mortgage firm and went on to open a branch of Cornerstone Mortgage Company in the summer of 2007.

Through Cornerstone Mortgage Company’s "Customer for Life" program, Blake provides clients not only with state-of-the-art technology and instant accessibility, but also with expanded customer services unparalleled in the industry.  In-house underwriting, fast prequalification, a nationwide array of investors to choose from and online access are all backed by what Blake considers the most important aspect of the mortgage transaction—personal attention.

A Texas native, Blake grew up in Bellville, and moved to Houston in 2002.  Recently recognized as a corporate partner with Financial Planner’s Association of Houston is just one of Blake’s many business achievements. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, watching college football, hunting and barbequing.
