Tom Beck
Senior Loan Officer

Residential Mortgage Planner Tom Beck owned and operated his own mortgage company in Greeley for more than 6 of the 13 years he has been in the industry. During that time, Tom and his teams oversaw mortgage originations of close to $1 billion, and his personal production team originated more than 2,000 loans with a value of more than $306 million. Tom and his business partner experienced great success in their mortgage company, earning the Greeley Tribune Readers Choice award for Favorite Mortgage Company, as well as earning Entrepreneur of the Year awards and Mercury’s Fastest Growing Company award. Tom’s determined, outgoing and competitive personality drives him to excellence in all that he does.

Prior to his businesses ventures, Tom Beck was a standout athlete at the University of Northern Colorado.  As quarterback for the Bears, he guided the team to its first ever back-to-back playoff appearances, and in 1996 led the school to its first National Championship! He was elected into the University’s Hall of Fame in 2004, and the 1996 team was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006. He continues to be a big supporter of the Bears, serving on the Hall of Fame committee, as well as being a board member of the athletics’ fundraising committee, the Blue and Gold Club.

After his college career ended, Tom signed as a free agent with the Denver Broncos and made it to the final cut before being released. He went on to have stints with the Chicago Bears and the Scottish Claymores of the NFL Europe League, and later the Buffalo Destroyers and the Portland Forrest Dragons of the Arena Football League before hanging up his cleats in 1999.  After spending two years away, he returned to the game as a coach of a local high school football team where he served as the offensive coordinator, helping lead the team to their first-ever playoff appearances.

Tom has also taken to the coaching arena as a coach for his daughters for the last 8 years in numerous sports. You name it — T-ball, soccer, basketball, softball — you will always find him near an athletic field trying to give back to today’s youth and teaching them the fundamentals of the game. He is married to his college sweetheart, and they have three daughters together.

Throughout his life, Tom has understood the importance of serving the community and giving back. He has held positions on the Board of Directors in Rotary, has served as a fundraiser on the American Cancer Society’s Cattle Barons Ball Committee, as well as serving on committees for Ducks Unlimited, the Boys and Girls Club of Weld County and the Greeley Chamber of Commerce. His former company also partnered with local elementary schools and served as their business sponsor to assist them in helping shape today’s youth.

Michelle has lived in Greeley the last 19 years and is a Graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Business Finance. She has been in the Mortgage Lending Industry for the past 7 years and was a licensed Real Estate Agent prior to that.

Michelle deals with marketing and communications duties, as well as assists in the loan processing and production issues.

 

Renee Perkins
Sr. Loan Processor

Renee is a native of Northern Colorado and has been in the mortgage industry for 20 years.

Renee manages the processing of each mortgage loan, from application through closing and can help you with anything you might need, both during the loan process and after your loan has closed.
