Ava Thuy Nguyen, Senior Production Partner
Ava is an integral part of the West Houston Branch’s “Core Four” Team. Her straight-forward honesty and 12 years of experience ensures no surprises for clients during the entire mortgage process and at closing.

Ava began her mortgage career while still in college, and quickly learned the many facets of residential lending. She strongly believes the most important aspect of life is a happy, loving family. It is the “Cornerstone” of her everyday life, and is reflected in her unwavering commitment to excellent customer service.

Born in Saigon, Ava and her family made Houston their permanent home in 1988. During her limited spare time, Ava absolutely loves spending time with her family, and especially enjoys cooking for them. She is also an avid traveler and movie buff.

Tammy Garofano, Assistant Branch Manager
With 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Tammy brings the highest level of expertise, professionalism and integrity to every home-financing transaction. Tammy and the “Core Four” Team are dedicated to providing each and every client a smooth, seamless, stress-free and on-time closing.

Born in Massachusetts, Tammy began her mortgage career right after college. She has extensive experience in underwriting, as well as business administration. In addition, Tammy’s friendly, open personality makes clients feel like family – and not just another loan transaction.

When she’s not helping fulfill homeownership dreams, Tammy stays active biking and spending time with her four dogs. She is also a volunteer of Brittany Rescue, a non-profit organization that takes in and cares for abandoned or lost Brittanys.
