California Consumer Privacy Act Disclosure

Pursuant to CA Title 1.81.5 Section 1798.100 et al

As a California resident, you have the following privacy rights:

  1. To know which categories of personal information will be collected and for what purpose, which on this transaction will include:
    • Identifiers such as a real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, social security number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers.
    • Any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with, a particular individual, including, but not limited to, his or her name, signature, social security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information. “Personal information” does not include publicly available information that is lawfully made available to the general public from federal, state, or local government records.
    • Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law.
    • Commercial information, including records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
    • Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an Internet Web site, application, or advertisement.
    • Professional or employment-related information.

    The purpose of collecting the above personal information is for the origination, closing and servicing of your mortgage loan. It is important to note that our company does not sell any of your personal information collected. Accordingly, the rights afforded to California residents, outlined below, regarding the sale of your information are not applicable.

For up to 12 months after the transaction, the right to make a free-of-charge request for information, returned within 45 days, regarding:

  1. The categories of personal information that have been collected about the consumer;
  2. The sources from which personal information is collected;
  3. The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information;
  4. The third parties with whom the Lender shares personal information;
  5. The specific pieces of personal information the Lender has collected about the consumer;
  6. Whether or not the Lender sells, or has sold within the preceding 12 months, any personal information collected;
  7. Whether or not the Lender uses the personal information for a business purpose;

For up to 12 months after the transaction, the right to make a free-of-charge request for information, returned within 45 days, regarding:

  1. That the Lender delete any personal information the Lender has collected from consumer;
  2. To “opt-out” (not sell) any personal information the Lender has collected from consumer.
