Tim Harrison

Mortgage Branch Manager
Tim Harrison, Mortgage Branch Manager of Upland, combines his education, experience and expertise to help his clients fully understand the loan process. He aims to ease the minds of his clients as they navigate one of the most complex financial transactions they may ever experience, a home mortgage.
Tim credits the ethics learned from his family, coupled with his Business Finance degree, and minor in Real Estate Law, for his successful 23-year career. Tim has been involved in over 5000 successful closings with a combined total of $1.2 Billion dollars over his career. Tim's consistently high performance and commitment to excellence in all aspects of client service has led him to be ranked in the top one-percent of all loan officers nationwide by Origination News, as well as the Top 300 Originators in the Nation recognized by Scotsman Guide. He is also the co-author of the very informative, Straight Up Mortgage Talk. Tim textualizes his knowledge in the book and makes the complexities of the Mortgage Business easily accessible.
Tim was born and raised in the same community he now serves. He has earned the name, The Straight Up Mortgage Guy, through his passionate commitment to matching his clients with the proper home loan financing and for his straight-forward approach. As the loan process has become increasingly complicated, Tim's greatest strength is his ability to listen carefully to his clients and to identify best the right option in the wide array of home financing available. Customer service is his highest priority, as well as his commitment to the education and efficiency of his team.
Tim is also committed to helping his community through various acts of community service and to his wonderful family. Tim is proud to serve as a board member on The Claremont Chamber of Commerce, The University Terrace, and The Claremont Rotary which he has been nominated as president for 2014-2015. He also has past involvement as a Board member on the Claremont Community Foundation.

Andrew Ryan

Loan Originator/Sales Operations Manager
Andrew Ryan is a Loan Originator and Sales Operations Manager, known for a rare combination of skills in both sales and operations. With more than 25 years in the industry, Andrew boasts encyclopedic knowledge of many loan programs, along with the practical experience to support the HLC Team in delivering a smooth and expedient loan process, from application to closing. With a strong desire to help others reach their goals, Andrew guides his team of loan officers, providing seasoned insight and motivation to help make homeownership dreams come true.
Born in New York, Andrew was raised in California and proudly calls it home. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find him outdoors, hiking, cycling or just enjoying life with his wife and their grandchildren.

Leslie Magodoro

Sr. Loan Consultant
Leslie Magodoro is a Senior Loan Consultant recognized for his high energy level and attention to customer service. With over 20 years' experience with the HLC Team, he attributes his success to learning from one of the most successful mortgage bankers in the nation.
From purchasing a new home and financing home improvements to obtaining lower rates or shorter terms through refinancing, Leslie is committed to exceeding expectations by helping customers find the right loan for their needs and staying with them through every step of the home loan process. He has made accessibility his promise and integrity his trademark.
Leslie's genuine interest and enthusiasm in supporting clients through the mortgage experience has earned him a loyal client base. A self-proclaimed "people pleaser," he devotes time to getting to know the needs of the families that he works with so that he can identify the right loan options. He is specially trained with the Todd Duncan Consultant Mastery Series and in CalHFA, NHF, FHA, USDA and Reverse Mortgages, so he can offer a broad perspective and identify sound options.
Outside of work Leslie volunteers as a mentor for the Sunburst Youth Challenge Academy, a program that provides a second chance to young people struggling in school. He's also an avid traveler and often ventures to Europe to visit with friends.

Juan Gamboa

Loan Officer
Juan Gamboa is a Senior Loan Officer working in the industry since 1993. Juan is known for his attention to detail, exceptional talent, and ability to connect with his clients on a personal level. Juan cares about the people he helps rather than the industry he is in. His greatest joy is being able to help others, and by helping them secure a home, he helps people build their wealth. He is also always willing to be helpful around the office and he is always friendly.
Starting in 1985, Juan was the franchisee of Chevron and Mobil Oil franchises. However, after 1993 he sold the franchises and started working in the mortgage industry. His roles have varied from a Loan officer, branch manager, and sales manager. He’s worn a lot of hats in the industry and can do it all.
A local, Juan was born in Pomona and raised in Claremont. As such, he is familiar with the ins and outs of the local industry. When Juan is not working, he likes to spend time with his family and going to church. He also is a huge outdoors person and if you can’t find him in the office or at church, you might find him out enjoying nature.

Michelle Amaya
Senior Processor
Michelle Amaya is a Senior Processor for the HLC Team where she has worked for the past year. She is committed to making everything go as smoothly as possible for customers and uses her expert time management and organizational skills in doing all that she can to help move the lending process along in a timely manner.
A detail-oriented professional, Michelle has the tenacity to get things done – and most importantly, get them done well. Her steady demeanor and quiet presence help ensure that the HLC Team's clients experience straightforward, streamlined home financing transactions.
Throughout the past year, she has seen countless borrowers fulfill their dreams of homeownership. Michelle is a true team player and she understands that working together is crucial to the HLC Team's success.
Michelle spends her free time with her family, chasing after her two young children. As Disney lovers and season pass holders, they frequent the park often.

Jenna Irish
Client Relations Coordinator
Jenna Irish started as a marketing assistant in 2010 and instantly felt at home with the HLC Team. Constant exposure to a large number of clients led her on a passionate drive to get more involved with customers. She is now responsible for client relations and also works as a loan officer assistant, both of which fulfill her passion for helping people realize their homeownership dreams.
A fun and energetic person, Jenna combines her outgoing personality and diligent work ethic to get to know clients and deliver the best service. She leads client relationship efforts and is the point of contact for incoming borrowers, helping them with any questions they have about the mortgage process.
Jenna looks forward to interacting with people every day. Her strength is in communicating directly and with sincerity. She puts effort into getting to know every family she works with and is dedicated to helping customers navigate through the loan process.
In the spare time that she can find, Jenna tries to be with her family as much as she can. She's a people-person through and through and enjoys spending time with the people she loves most.

Kristin Sawyer
Executive Office Manager
Kristin Sawyer is the HLC Team's executive assistant and Tim Harrison's right-hand person. She is the liaison when a communicator is needed between multiple parties involved in a home loan, and she works closely with Tim to facilitate loan transactions.
From managing expenses and budgets to connecting team members with contacts and taking care of day-to-day office functions, Kristin has multiple responsibilities. She also helps Tim and other members of the HLC Team with community projects and special programs.
Starting as a receptionist in 2002, Kristin now uses her experience in processing, transaction coordination, customer service and management to help people both inside and outside of the organization. She likes making life easier for others, finding new ways to do things and doing them more effectively. Kristin is incredibly detail-oriented and likes to assess and evaluate all aspects of her job to ensure that she is achieving the best possible outcomes.
Kristen graduated from the University of California at Riverside with a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Sociology. She loves to spend her free time with her son, family and friends. With loved ones spread out across the country, she enjoys traveling to visit them.

Sean Harrison
Branch Marketing Manager
Sean Harrison is a recent graduate of the University of California - Riverside and has joined the HLC Team as Branch Marketing Manager. He started working part-time with the HLC Team while still in school when a substitute was needed for an employee on temporary leave. He enjoyed the job so much that he decided to continue part-time while finishing school. Sean has now taken the reins of monitoring HLC's social media outlets, the behind-the-scenes of their mobile app, branch brand positioning and website lead generation.
Sean provides marketing insight to strategic initiatives, transforming traditional thinking into out-of-the-box experiences that delight clients and give personality to the HLC brand. His position merges creativity with content delivery, and he likes having a hand in both aspects of the brand development.
Able to pick things up quickly, Sean also serves as the go-to for small projects throughout the office, working with the loan officers, processors and customers to get done what needs to get done.
Sean was born and raised in Claremont and intends to stay in the area to be nearby family and friends. Close with his cousins and extended family, he makes an effort to spend time with them each week. His favorite pastime is playing video games and he enjoys delving into sci-fi literature whenever he has the chance.
